Wendy Williams “Ask Wendy” Book Release Party!

How you doing????? Last night, I went to the larger-than-life day time talk show host Wendy Williams book release party, for her new book “Ask Wendy”.  Miss Williams really knows how to throw a party;  there was an open bar, a sweets bar by Sincerely Yours Events, celebrities, confetti, pink carpet, and a PINK ELEPHANT!

The party was held at the Pink Elephant in West Village.  New York’s “it” DJ, DJ Kiss made sure everyone had a good time.  French Montana, Chrisette Michele, Carla Facciolo (VH1’S Mob Wives), Yandy Smith (VH1’s Love & Hip Hop), Raqi Thunda (VH1’s Love & Hip Hop), and Sharon Carpenter (VH1’s Gossip Game) were all in the building to help Wendy celebrate.  The place was packed with a people partying!  They really turnt the Pink Elephant out, Wendy style of course, all in celebration of her new book!

“Ask Wendy” is a lifestyle/guide book, where Wendy shares her answers to questions many fans have sent to her and personal experiences she has overcome in her life.  There’s not a subject the book doesn’t touch, from cheating spouses to money issues to styling advice to so much more, it is all in there.  Wendy gives her honest advice and if you know Wendy, you know she does not hold back (even if she hurts your feelings)!  She really does a good job of giving honest advice while making you laugh in this book.  I am sure you will find parts of the book you can relate to and will be nodding your head in agreement.

Wendy has come a long way from being the “queen of mean” on radio.  Her show is in its 5th season, her new book, she has a new wig line coming out, and she will be staring in Broadway’s hit play “Chicago” this summer.  She has really changed her image and brand, for the better and has taken her career to a whole new level.  I read some of the book and I have to admit I was entertained and didn’t want to put it down;  she really does give good advice!  Don’t be surprise if your friends aren’t quoting her soon…  You can buy the “Ask Wendy” at any book store or here.  Until next event ciao!
