Love & Hip Hop Viewing Party & Cast Q&A

So last night I got a big rachett treat! Let me start off by saying I’m not really a fan of TV, especially reality TV, but I do occasionally tune in.  This way when friends are talking about them, I can participate a little.  We all know Love & Hip Hop is a huge success (I’m not going to talk down on it because I’m just here to cover events).  Any who I attended the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta viewing party and Q&A with the cast and producer.

The actual event was classier than the show.  The room was filled with bloggers and media personnel.  They had people around serving hors devours (which were actually really good).  It was sponsored by Ciroc and Bartenura Moscato, which means open bar baby! That actually kind of scared me because we all know the more the liquor flows, the more honest reporters are.  All this went on at The Griffin.

When the show actually came on of course everyone was laughing at the show, I mean it is comical ignorance at its finest.  After the show finished, Mona Scott Young (the Executive Producers) came out to answer questions from the audience. She of course gave the typical politically correct answers (like a true classy lady).  She did clear up some rumors; yes the reunion will be traditional format, and no they are not looking for a new city for the franchise. Who would of thought such a well spoken lady would be associated with such trash TV (sounds like a pimp to me lol).

Now before I give my tid-bit about the cast Q&A just keep this in mind: A) I’m no reporter B) I do not knock anyone’s hustle (as long as you aren’t physically harming others).  With that said I will try not to bash some of the cast.  K. Michele, Lil Scrappy, Stevie J, and Joseline were there to represent.  I will say K. Michele and Scrappy were the only sane ones. K. Michele said she is using the show to get her story out there, because we all know we slept on her music (she is very talented).  Scrappy said he is doing this show for a check and that’s really it … oh and he and Stevie are cool.  Joseline and Stevie J are both beyond delusional. Joseline believes she is some international star (does she even have music on iTunes?) who was very rude (with a smile) to everyone who asked her a question.  Stevie is really sticking by her by saying she is huge and is only getting huger.  By the look of it, Mimi is out the picture and they are together.

Listening to Stevie J and Joseline made my stomach curl!  I just can’t believe they are that naive, even though I admire the confidence, all I have to say is “LETS BE REAL!”  But like I said Scrappy and K. Michelle were great to hear and very truthful.

Anyways until next event xoxo…
Here is a video of the q&a session… The cast is around the 9 min mark (taken by The Skorpion Show)

Some of these photos were taken by the very talented Malinda Bell.  Also like a loser I forgot to charge my battery, so my camera was dead and I had to take pictures with another camera… Still pretty good quality!

I’m impressed, I must say. Really seldom do I run into a web site that’s both educative and exciting, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is wondrous ; the issue is something that not enough people are talking intelligently about. I am very happy that I happened across this.

  2. You should take part in a contest for one of the brightest blogs on the web. I will endorse this website!.
