Gogobot Jetsetter Party

Will all my BOTS please stand up!  While most of you were watching the NBA draft, I was hanging out on a rooftop with sand and beautiful people in The Meatpacking District (I believe I am winning)!

Gogobot, www.gogobot.com, had a fabulous ‘Jetsetter’ party at the Downtown Dream Hotel, sponsored by Zico coconut water.  The Dream Hotel is already an amazing place, so this venue was perfect!  Talk about rubbing elbows with the right people in a beautiful setting.  When you have a pool, sand, nice weather, beautiful people, and alcohol; you know you are in for a good time!

Gogobot is an website/app that allows people to share experiences while traveling and for travelers to get advice from peers (almost like a more personalize yelp for travelers).   It already has over 2 million users and more than 60,000 travel destinations, and it is continually growing.  The app (which is only currently available for Iphone users; sorry android users, I am sure an app is coming soon) allows you to do a couple of cool things including:

  • Browse & explore the most popular attractions (hotels, restaurants, etc) by seeing photos and reviews
  • Add places to your personal trip plan, which will give you details about the venue (so you don’t have to continuously google the info), makes it easier to get directions and make calls if you get lost
  • Link to your Facebook, Twitter, SMS or email to send postcards to your friends

So all my Jetsetters, which I know a couple of you are, you definitely should download this app.  You can find me on it!  You can also help me plan my next big trip to ….. So come join me and many others on this traveling social media site, you won’t regret it!!!

Until next event xoxo…
