‘Nothing To Wear’ Body Paint Exhibit
Last night, I went to a very interesting event. All day I was excited to go to this event, especially since I really didn’t know what to expect. All I knew is that I would see models walking around in body paint (something I’ve always wanted to do). I wasn’t sure how this would play out, but I was for sure that I could not wait to see.
After getting lost, Google maps and I sometimes have arguments and it pays me back by sending me in the wrong direction (I really just enter in the wrong address lol), I finally found Milux Cafe/Milux Home, a small cafe/antique store in SoHo. I was instantly drawn to the models walking around in lingerie, that was literally painted on. When I did a quick glance, I didn’t even notice it, but after really looking at the models, I release they were wearing paint and not clothes.
The exhibit/party was the launch party for interior designer Alfonsina Romero’s company “Closet Room” debuting at Milan Luxury Home (Milux Home). The event had a lot of talented people in attendance and A LOT of photographers! So as you can imagine there was a lot of networking going on, so many business cards were being passed around. I over heard one of the models saying she felt like a celebrity because of everyone pulling her trying to snap a picture. Aside from the body paint (which was painted by Michelangelo and Leah Menna), the models wore AMAZING shoes by Pamela Quinzi, and were styled by Janeen Zinna in Mina D designs.
Over all it was a great night and unexpectedly a fun event. I will definitely be checking out Closet Room, once I am ready to re-do my closet, which needs help BAD. We all know NYC apartments are tiny, so anything that helps you save space and keeps you organize you cherish. This is why I need to enlist some help and Miss Romero seems like the perfect person!
Until next event xoxo….
How beautiful! Great article, Thank you! I am so happy you enjoyed it. I will be more than happy to help with your closet space! Xo
