Post-it In The City!

So tonight, I went to a surprisingly fun event; a launch party for the Post-it Brand’s new line, yes those pieces of paper we all love to leave little notes on and stick every where.  The party was in mid-town and was super cool.  Walking in all I saw was bright Post-it Notes everywhere, a fashionable crowd, a DJ and servers walking around with drinks and finger foods, so I instantly got excited.

Right when I got in, I was greeted by a lovely young lady, who showed me around the different stations and explained what was going on.  They had plenty of fun activities, my favorite was where you could leave inspirational messages to children who were affected by the tornado’s in Indiana.  They also had one were Dr. Michele Borba, famed author and speaker, taught about the benefits of using Post-it notes to organize and another station that was designated to help brainstorm what Post-it could do to improve overall.

They even had PC Tablets around so guest could take a short quiz to figure out which  Post-it color set best fits their personality.  I am “Jewel Pop” (after reading the definition on the website, this definitely fits me!); to find your color click here to take the quiz.  I appreciate that they had so many knowledgeable people walking around and talking to the guest about the different activities and new line.  The friendliness of the staff and the fun activities really made the atmosphere welcoming and easy to network/mingle.

Overall I had a great time.  Who would have ever thought Post-it would have such a great gathering.  They even gave away cute gift bags, filled with a lot of GREAT gifts!  Side-note, am I the only one who thinks of “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion” when I hear Post-it???? LOL, don’t judge me 🙂

No matter how much technology advances, I am pretty sure we will always need Post-it notes! Until next time xoxo…
