In Times Square, on Saturday (2.4.12),  about 200 people came out to do a massive soul train line/flash mob in honor of the late Don Cornelius, who passed away Weds, 2.1.12.   Mr. Cornelius created and hosted the famous show “Soul Train”, a show that helped launch the careers of a lot of great artist.  People were out in full force, bell bottoms and all, dancing in his memory.  With two soul train lines going and a big electric slide group (which always makes the party fun) going, you could tell that everyone wanted to send him off the right way and keep his memory alive.

It was a fun event, a little unorganized, but over all it was great to see so many people having fun and celebrating the life of such a wonderful person.

In his famous worlds “Peace, Love, and SSSOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLL”
